The highest tier will include access to demos and will allow users to stream games as shown in documents leaked by the anonymous sources. Subscriptions will be offered in multiple tiers which will grant subscribers free and unlimited access to new and classic PlayStation games. The service, codenamed Spartacus, will combine the perks of PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus and will launch with an initial lineup of popular games from recent years. In fact, Sony is planning to introduce a similar platform as early as next week according to Bloomberg’s sources. Around 25 million Game Pass subscribers are currently enjoying a rotating lineup of free games from various video game developers on PC and Xbox and Sony wants in on the action. ![]()
